Stuff happens.
Apparently I have agreed to dedicated myself to 3 years of slave-work and will be wearing a badge on my shirt as a reminder of the events that await me. E has been so helpful and has written me a Guidebook on how to achieve that coveted SL position that has been beseeched unto the collars of my other peers this morning. How wonderful, I shall treasure this guidebook for the rest of my days as an SLT, thank you! With this book I shall become a model student and become the paragon of all Leaders! ahem.
I felt rather insecure dring the past week. Insecure, meaning, the paranoia of not being the best or up to par with the people around you. (bleep)
I'm absolutely dying to go to the UK school trip in June but lucky me, other stuff happens to clash with the dates. It's disappointing and painful. I might hate everyone who gets to go. Sulk.
Sulk.

Living in the Past
"People say that I used to be perfect."
Well.
Once I start typing I forget everything that has happened to me. Therefore I feel frustrated and disappointed with the attention span and memory I was born with.
Something random, as usual?
-This week it has been raining straight for so many days. It didn't rain today. I love the rain.
-Everyone's been blogging about the health check. I don't care. Health checks are so convenient for skipping lessons that you dread.
-Took class photos today. Had to stand next to Chong Yi, who promptly leaned on me and I realized that he was really really fat with a double-layer of PE and school uniform. Does he not have any shame?
-Felt irritable today as well. I'm irked and very annoyed at the Persistance of Memory That Plagues the Subconcious Mind.
-Also realized that a startling number of my peers are shallow and immature, their immaturity so contagious that it causes breakdowns in relationships, quarrels and tears as it spreads at an alarming rate among the school.
-That just adds to one more reason why I should transfer to some other school where the grass is greener, the air is fresher and boasts views of the sea from many top-floor classrooms. Thus a more condusive place for studying and nurturing one's intellectual and educational growth in an environment that both appeases to student and teacher alike; where there is a common understanding between everyone that as humans we are designed to think and that thinking can be a dangerous weapon and therefore controlling thoughts that are deadly are for the the greater good of the society in which everyone will find themselves in a better world where problems are minimal and corruption is exterminated. This will bring about a more cohesive form of learning.

grey wallet on scanner
So I had a lack of creativity this evening. And I'm naming my blog titles after things that i see sitting around me. Usually inanimate, so sometimes that includes my sister listening to Blink-182. (with a hyphen, as I have painfully found out a few days before.)
But I have to thank the following people for reminding me that I'm 14! Thanks to:
- Jun Da who loves Mars bars but gave me Snickers instead.
- Joelle and Sherilyn who gave me a pen and handphone accessory, both with those cute little rubber men that you sometimes get from Korea. x)
- Zizhao who was the first person to wish me Happy Birthday in sms!
- My parents and grandparents who gave me the beautiful stuff that comes in red packets.
- Esther, my favourite-st sister in the whole friggin' universe who gave me $10 because she was too sick to get me a proper birthday present.
- YF-ers whom I shook hands with till they went numb!
- SL people that are too many to name!
- Yunjia who wrote me a friendster testimonial that I've yet to reply!
- Sherilyn again who sent me a birthday sms!
- Elizabeth from debate who also sent me a birthday sms!
- GWEN!
- Mingting whom i shook hands with 3 times on Thursday!
- Lisa!
- Vera Li Shi Ying who suddenly realized it's my birthday
- Wei Yao!
- Marcus!
- Yiting and the happy birthday email
- Gen who sent me a belated birthday sms x)
- Wei Yeat!
- Leonard!
- Other choir people!
- 203 '06!
- Other people that cannot be named! heh..
Smiles!
I've also met my new juniors (esp. 101 you guys keep rocking!) Sec 1s this year are so cute in a good way that i can tolerate! Most of them, anyway =P
* It is a feel-good post *
